- 20-100 hot peppers cayenne, jalapeno, serrano, habenero
Gather fresh chili peppers from the garden.
Dry the peppers. You can do this a few ways. Use a dehydrator or string them up and let them dry naturally. See the tips above for more infor on how to dry them.
After the peppers are dry break off the stems, discard stems, and add the peppers to a blender or food processor.
Pulse the peppers until they are the size and texture you like.
Add to a clean jar and store in a cool, dry place.
