Spicy Seafood Salad

Spicy Seafood Salad

This quick and easy spicy seafood salad is the perfect five-minute appetizer, snack or lunch. My husband and I have been hooked on this salad for a few months. You can eat it as a light dinner/lunch with either these low carb lavash crackers or sliced up veggies. Serve it as a dip for a party with crackers and veggies. Or, you can buy the premade phyllo cups and fill each one with the salad for an easy bite-size snack. The serrano pepper packs a serious punch, it is spicy. If you’re not into super spicy you have a few options.

Spicy Seafood Salad Recipe Tips

You can remove the seeds and stems from the pepper. That will leave the serrano flavor with a little less heat.

You can use a jalapeno which is less spicy than the serrano.

Or, you can take the stems and ribs out of the jalapeno for the least amount of spice.

Do NOT cut the pepper then touch your face, eyes, or sensitive skin. Wash your hands really good( you still have to be careful as the oils can stay on your skin for quite a while) or use a glove toss it when you are done.

  • 12 ounces Imitation Crab I use Crab Classic brand
