These are the Best Pork Lettuce Wraps, they pack so much flavor in a little, healthy package. This is by far one of our favorite recipes for pork lettuce wraps. Below are a few tips for this recipe.
Recipe Tips
- To peel fresh ginger I use a spoon, just scrape off the skin before you grate it into the skillet.
- Check out my tip here for grating garlic/ginger.
- Ground chicken could be used as well but the pork is less expensive. It goes on sale for .99/lb at my grocery. I usually buy at least 4 packs to stock up my freezer when this happens!
- Make sure to use sugar-free peanut butter, I suppose you could use regular if that is what you had but I am not sure how the sweetness would taste with everything. If you try it let me know!
- Clean the leaves while you are letting the pork mixture cook to save yourself some time.
- I make a side of Cilantro Lime Rice and add some of the pork mixture and frozen peas for the kids, My youngest is not coordinated enough to eat lettuce wraps yet!
I hope your family enjoys this dish as much as we do!

Hi, I love your recipe!!! I have a question, what can i substitute for rice vinegar?
You can omit it or use mirin if you have it. Even a squeeze of lime would work!
I love lettuce wraps and yours looks scrumptious! You make yours pretty much the same as I do but you added a nice peanutty flavor. Got to try it soon.
I love lettuce wraps as well. The possibilities are endless. Thanks for stopping by!
Wow I’d love to try this with chicken -such lovely fragrant ingredients! I love your tips for grating garlic and ginger – I agree, you get so much more flavour that way!
Those look so easy and so good! Nice and spicy (the way we like them…)
Lettuce wraps are my favorite asian dish! I can’t wait to try these!
I absolutely, positively hate peeling (and cutting) ginger. I’m definitely going to need to try this handy tip next time. As for lettuce wraps. . .I absolutely love them as I am always trying to watch my carbs. I love all the tasty ingredients you have included in yours.
A spoon for peeling the ginger? I MUST try this! I usually skip the peeling altogether because I’m lazy! 🙂
Simple yet super yummy looking! A great alternative to cut on all that gluten we ingest.
I do like tasty ground pork recipes like this with a few spices in and some hot sauce too! Definitely a great choice for summer and the lettuce makes them a healthy option too.
Totally LOVE ground pork. Don’t get me wrong…turkey, beef and chicken is great too. Lamb is delicous as well. However, ground pork is so juicy and would be perfect in these tasty, healthy and nutritous wraps. Perfect for the hot weather…nice and light.
I don’t eat pork.., but my husband does. He will love this dish. I will try it for him.
Chicken would be good too!
I love your lettuce wraps, I like how you’ve spiced up the pork with sriracha and ginger, delicious.
